The truth about Muslims is this: Jesus died for all people, Muslims included. As believers of Jesus, we should be moved by our faith to lovingly proclaim the truth about what He did for all people. Muslims, like all who reject the Saviour, are doomed to Eternal Hell. The Bible is clear on this. We want to correct the errors of the teachings of Islam out of love, so that more souls can be won for God. A good starting ground for this is by beginning your discussion with the common grounds that Chritianity and Islam share. From that point, you need to lovingly show how Islam fails because it is missing Jesus. Tonnes more to say, but anyways, that's my start.

how come the hadith is seperate from the koran? i understand that the koran is a vision of muhammad- is that correct? then is the hadith more of a biography of his life?

Jacob, another amazing thing to think about is how God has you in his hands, in his protection. Just as the Apostle Paul and even Jesus himself faced all kinds of danger, God kept them through it according to his purpose.
