Is The Father Of Jesus The God Of Muhammad?

Writing as a Christian for other Christians, Timothy George aims to build up the faith of Christ's people by providing evangelical insight on what lies at the heart of Christianity and of Islam: the doctrine of God.

Do we worship the same God? What do Muslims think of Jesus? How can we talk about Jesus to our Muslim neighbors? Which beliefs about God do we share, and where do we differ from them?

The question in the book's title, "Is The Father Of Jesus The God Of Muhammad," does not receive a simple yes or no answer. The author skillfully and compassionately leads readers to a better understanding of both religions and of the only path to salvation.

Paul Meets Muhammad

Michael Licona creates a 21st Century, computer-generated, holographic scenario for a formal debate between the Apostle Paul and Muhammad.

In the debate Paul presents historical and scriptural reasons for believing in the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. Muhammad uses the Qur'an, a critical view of the Bible, and a metaphorical interpretation of Scripture to deny the same events.

The stated intent of the debate is not to prove Christianity or Islam to be true or false, but to provide each religion's followers with a greater understanding of the other's view.

The result is a revealing look at the heart of the two largest religions in the world, showing their opposing views, and challenging the reader to see that they cannot both be correct.
